Gay Men’s Health Service - Counselling
The Gay Men’s Health Service in conjunction with Outhouse provides a free confidential counselling service. The service links our service users with an experienced counsellor who can provide up to 10 free counselling sessions. Please note due to the high demand for this service there is likely to be a waiting list.
Garda LGBT Liaison Officer
Each week the Garda LGBT Liaison Officer is available to meet our service users by appointment at Outhouse. These officers have been trained on issues relating to LGBT people and are there to give advice and assistance in the event of you having difficulty reporting a crime.
LGBT Free Legal Advice Centre
The LGBT Lawyers’ Association of Ireland is an educational, advisory and advocacy group made up of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and allied lawyers and students in Ireland. Their aim is to create awareness of the legal issues affecting the LGBT community, to combat discrimination and to advocate for equality. This service is provided free of charge on the first Tuesday of every month from 7pm - 8:30pm.
Crosscare (Homelessness Service)
Crosscare Housing and Welfare Information (“CHWI”) is a project offering information and advocacy in the areas of homelessness, housing (public and private), social welfare and related matters. The service is free of charge and available by appointment.
It is the aim of Outhouse to provide high quality Information, Referral and Support services which sustain and enhance positive LGBT physical, emotional, sexual health, mental health and wellbeing.
