SUMMARY:Intersex Peer Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Our Intersex Peer Support Group is a space for intersex people to speak openly about their experiences and learn from each other in a safe and supportive environment. The group is led by Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre volunteers who are Intersex themselves. The group offers peer support\, community building\, and empowerment. \nThe primary purpose of the group is to foster a safe and inclusive environment where intersex people can engage in personal development while creating a sense of belonging and community with one another. \nAdditionally\, the group offers opportunities for those interested in engaging in activism to build their confidence and resilience. However\, this is not a requirement for membership. \nThe group meets monthly\, typically on the third Saturday of the month\, from 2pm to 4pm. \nAttendance at every meeting is not mandatory. Each monthly session covers differenttopics\, such as; \n\nBuilding Resilience: Protecting your wellbeing\, improving resilience\, coping with\ntough times\, and incorporating self-care into your routine.\nSexuality and Sexual Health: Exploring attitudes towards sexuality and sexual\norientation for intersex people and addressing internalised phobias.\nIdentity and Community: Discussing personal identity\, relationships with gender\nidentity\, and the sense of community among intersex people.\n\nIf you are interested in joining the group and attending a meeting\, please register here >>. Once you have registered\, you will receive an email invitation before each meeting. \nFor more information about the Intersex Peer Support Group\, please email\nreception@outhouse.ie.
