SUMMARY:Intersex Peer Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Our Intersex Peer Support Group is a space for intersex people to speak openly about their experiences and learn from each other in a safe and supportive environment. The group is led by Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre volunteers who are Intersex themselves. The group offers peer support\, community building\, and empowerment. \nThe primary purpose of the group is to foster a safe and inclusive environment where intersex people can engage in personal development while creating a sense of belonging and community with one another. \nAdditionally\, the group offers opportunities for those interested in engaging in activism to build their confidence and resilience. However\, this is not a requirement for membership. \nThe group now meets quarterly on Saturdays from 2pm to 4pm. Dates for 2026 are: March 21st\, July 18th\, October 17th. \nAttendance at every meeting is not mandatory. Each monthly session covers differenttopics\, such as; \n\nBuilding Resilience: Protecting your wellbeing\, improving resilience\, coping with\ntough times\, and incorporating self-care into your routine.\nSexuality and Sexual Health: Exploring attitudes towards sexuality and sexual\norientation for intersex people and addressing internalised phobias.\nIdentity and Community: Discussing personal identity\, relationships with gender\nidentity\, and the sense of community among intersex people.\n\nIf you are interested in joining the group and attending a meeting\, please register here >>. Once you have registered\, you will receive an email invitation before each meeting. \nFor more information about the Intersex Peer Support Group\, please email\nreception@outhouse.ie.
