SUMMARY:Mar Knitwear presents 'Merits Over Mischief: A Life Drawing Presentation'
DESCRIPTION:Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre is excited to host Mihai Mar\, Creative Director of Mar Knitwear\, for their incredible showcase at Dublin Independent Fashion Week 2025. \nStraight from producing knitwear for Netflix’s Wednesday and showcasing at Copenhagen Fashion Week\, Mihai is ready to present his latest collection in a reimagined fashion presentation – an experience that promises to challenge convention while celebrating identity\, craft\, and storytelling. \nInstead of the fleeting pace of a catwalk\, audiences are invited into a slower\, more intimate encounter with the collection. Through interactive life-drawing sessions\, guests can engage directly with the intricate textures\, craftsmanship\, and narratives behind each piece\, while movement and music elevate the atmosphere. \nMarking Mar Knitwear’s first solo showcase\, this milestone event offers a fresh\, participatory way to experience fashion—transforming it from a passing spectacle into something meaningful\, memorable\, and creatively engaging. \n– – – – – – – – – – – \nA reimagined fashion experience where performance\, music\, and drawing intertwine. Discover the narratives woven into this new collection\, brought to life through an interactive\, emotionally resonant presentation. \n\nWed\, 24 Sept: 6pm – 7pm\nThu\, 25 Sept: 8pm – 9pm\n\nGet your tickets: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/mar-knitwear-life-drawing-presentation-at-difw25-tickets-1671575911549
