Growth
Paintings by Martin McCann
In the Red Room, celebrated visual artist Martin McCann presents a series of mixed media paintings inspired by the quiet beauty of growth and transformation.
Working in oil, cold wax, and collage, McCann embraces the imperfect, the incomplete, and the asymmetrical to move beyond the frames and expectations placed upon us.
These textured, layered works speak to the resilience of growing in our own direction, a journey that resonates deeply within queer lives. Here, beauty is found not in symmetry or perfection, but in the ways we expand, unfurl, and thrive outside the limits of what we were told to be.
