Accessibility in Outhouse
We are committed to protecting and promoting the rights and dignity of all LGBTQ+ people by providing a safe and accessible space.
Our centre at 105 Capel Street was built in the 1770s, making it one of the oldest Georgian buildings in Dublin City. Unfortunately, due to the building’s age, importance, and protected status, minimal interventions have been allowed by Dublin City Council to enable universal access.
We recognise that to achieve our mission, Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre has to be accessible to all. As part of our five-year strategic plan, our goal is to ensure that our centre is accessible, welcoming, and accommodating to individuals of all abilities and backgrounds.
Please see our accessibility guide which may be helpful when planning your visit to Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre.
