The LGBTQ+ Library
The Outhouse LGBTQ+ Library is more than just a library. It is a community space with shelves bursting with LGBTQ+ literature, culture, and history. Our library is home to Ireland’s largest collection of LGBTQ+ titles, spanning fiction, non-fiction, poetry, reference, and more.
Our Collection
With almost 4,000 titles, our library houses a rich collection of literature, academic works, personal narratives, and historical texts relating to LGBTQ+ topics and/or written by LGBTQ+ authors. Spanning all genres and featuring both international and Irish books, you’re sure to find something of interest.
Some of our catalogue’s books and materials may contain outdated content and views that could be challenging by today’s evolving norms and standards. Read our library content principles to learn more about our approach to the contents of our library.
