Event Description
Pride 2025 at Christ Church Cathedral
Christ Church Cathedral is delighted to welcome all to our Annual Pride Service on Friday, 13 June 2025 at 6:30pm.
This year’s service features The Rt Rev Dr Bonnie A. Perry, Bishop of Michigan in The Episcopal Church (USA)—the first woman and openly lesbian bishop in Michigan. Bishop Perry is a passionate advocate for justice, inclusion, and vibrant communities of faith.
Following the service, all are invited to a celebratory reception honouring Bishop Perry and our charitable partner, BelongTo Youth Services.
As part of her visit, Bishop Perry will also:
- Lead a workshop on Saturday, 14 June at 1:30pm
- Preach at Trinity Sunday Worship on Sunday, 15 June
Now in its fourth year, our Pride Service is organised in partnership with Changing Attitude Ireland, a group committed to full inclusion of LGBTQIA+ people in the Church of Ireland.
At Christ Church Cathedral, we are proud to stand with the LGBTQIA+ community in love, faith, and celebration
