HOSTILE ARCHITECTURE is an upcoming (shooting January 2026) romance horror short film about two trans people in Dublin who rent an extra-dimensional room too hook up in, only for the city to try and squeeze the life out of them.
This fundraiser screening includes six short films (approx. 65min) which inspired the look, story, sound and texture of Hostile Architecture. Intimate, dark, horny, queer, trans, Irish, this selection has been curated by James Hudson, writer of Hostile Architecture and programmer at the GAZE International LGBTQIA Film Festival and the TITE Film Festival.
The films will include an introduction from the Hostile Architecture team exploring their relevance to the production, and the screening will end with a short Q&A between event programmer/Hostile Architecture writer James Hudson and Hostile Architecture director/James’ girlfriend Liadán Roche.
