Event Description

Welcome back to the GAZE x Outhouse: Queer Film Club! This June, we’re celebrating Pride month with a very special screening chosen by our community vote: the beloved 2014 film, Pride, directed by Matthew Warchus.

Purchase your tickets on Eventbrite here!

Set during the 1984 UK miners’ strike, Pride tells the inspiring true story of a group of LGBTQ+ activists who raise money to support striking miners and their families, forging an unlikely but powerful alliance in the process. Filled with humour, heart, resistance, and solidarity, this uplifting and deeply moving film celebrates the strength of community and the importance of standing together across differences.

We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate Pride month through a story of queer activism, friendship, and chosen family!
