Step into the Prom Night excitement by meeting up in Outhouse before you head to the main event. This complimentary gathering offers you the chance to socialise with fellow attendees and experience the thrill of anticipation before you make your way up Capel Street and across the liffey to Street66. Whether you're flying solo or arriving with a prom date, Outhouse provides a welcoming environment where you can ease into the festivities at your own pace and connect with others attending the event.

Join us as you get glammed up, enjoy some fun, calm those pre-prom nerves, and boost our confidence for the night ahead! Everyone that is attending the Prom Night event is invited and welcome!

About Prom Night

Hosted at Street66 , in association with Outhouse, prepare to dance the night away under the glitter ball with performances including a show from Drag Queens Ireland featuring Mr. Pussy and Tina D. Parton. Get your own photo at the special pop up photo booth experience with artist Enda Burke. The Wild Geeze cabaret bring their comedy and burlesque to the stage and DJ Ruth Kavanagh plays hits from the 70's, 80's, 90's and more, including a slow set for partners and singles to dance with their crush! Balloon arches, cupcakes and razzle dazzle.

Prom Night | Frequently Asked Questions

What is Prom Night?
Prom Night is a celebration for LGBTQIA people to attend a 'debs'/ 'prom', with live acts, music, cupcakes, and a photobooth experience, at Street 66 in Dublin on May 16th.

Do I need to bring a date?
No! Come solo, come with friends… everyone is welcome at Prom Night.

What should I wear?
There isn't a strict dress code for Prom Night, but we do encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel joy and best showcases your personality! Whether that's something sparkly, something comfortable, something formal, or something entirely different, wear what makes you YOU!

Is this event for LGBTQIA+ people only?
While everyone is welcome at Prom Night, we are particularly eager to welcome LGBTQIA+ people and older people in the community.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, Street66 has a wheelchair ramp and wheelchair-accessible toilets.

Can I bring food or alcohol to the event?
No, unfortunately you will not be permitted to bring food or drink into the venue. However, drinks will be available to purchase in our fabulous venue, Street66, and we will have some delicious cupcakes for you to enjoy too!

Will there be space to get ready?
Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre will provide a space for you to get ready for prom on the day! We are located at 105 Capel Street, Dublin 1, D01 R290, just a short 8-minute walk from Street66.
