Outhouse is delighted to be kicking off the 2021 Virtual Pride Parade with our Pride Brunch, live on Dublin Pride TV at 12pm on June 26th.
Every year Outhouse hosts the Pride brunch before the parade, and this year is no different. What better way to start your Pride with a delicious brunch to fuel your day. We are honoured that avid chef & activist Colm O’Gorman and mixologist Dave Mulligan are joining us to cook up and mix some tasty treats.
Colm O’Gorman is the executive director of Amnesty International Ireland and a vocal advocate for LGBT+ rights worldwide. He spent his lockdown cooking up some mouth watering recipes and is now a regular recipe contributor to the Irish Examiner. Dave Mulligan, is the owner of Bar 1661, just around the corner from Outhouse. He is a passionate mixologist and diversified during the pandemic into craft cocktails and also delivering hand sanitiser with 30% being donated to those that needed it.
Colm will be cooking Blueberry & Lemon Pancakes and hopes that you will join him at 12pm on Dublin Pride TV for a cookalong to start off the celebrations together. Dave will show you how to make the perfect Belfast Coffee, which is a twist on the class Irish coffee. He will also show a delicious non-alcoholic version to enjoy with your brunch.
Click here to find out what you need to cook the Blueberry & Lemon Pancakes - ingredients, equipment and prep you need to cookalong on day. And you will also find the ingredients to the delectable drinks that Dave will be making.
Outhouse would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has donated over lockdown and who continues to donate and support Outhouse and our mission. We’ve been busy getting the building ready for visitors in the past few weeks and we are really looking forward to opening our doors in early July and welcoming people back to the centre. Outhouse hasn’t been the same without you, our community.
