Whether you’re looking to find other LGBTQ+ people with shared experiences, socialise, or build supportive networks, Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre’s social groups are safe and welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ adults to come together and build meaningful connections.

Sapphic Social

Meets in the Outhouse Cafe every Friday from 5pm – 8pm.

Coffee and chats for LBTQ+ women* every Friday evening. “Sapphic” is used to describe women’s attraction to other women, and it’s often an umbrella term for lesbians, bisexual/pansexual women, and queer women.

Bi+ Monthly

Meets in the Outhouse Cafe every second Thursday from 6pm – 8pm.

The Bi+ Monthly is a social space for folks who identify under the Bi+ umbrella, including bisexual, pansexual, queer, sexually fluid, or are questioning their sexuality. Meet-ups happen every second Thursday!

T-Time

Meets in the Outhouse Cafe every Wednesday from 7pm – 9pm.

T-Time is a weekly social group for trans, gender nonconforming, non-binary, and gender-expansive folk to chat, connect, build community, and foster support in a warm and inviting space.

Gay Guys Café

Meets in the Outhouse Cafe every Saturday from 3pm – 5pm.

A social group for young and youngish (18-35) gay guys to meet, chat and get to know each in an informal setting on Saturday afternoons. It’s for folks who’d like a quieter alternative to the scene to meet new people and form new friendships.

Gold

Meets in the Outhouse Library every Wednesday from 3pm – 5pm.

Gold is a café meet-up for LGBTQ+ folk aged 50 and over to drop in for a coffee and a chat with others of a similar age. It’s a welcoming and social atmosphere for the older generation in the community every Wednesday.

Ace & Aro

Meets in the Outhouse Cafe every Tuesday from 6pm – 8pm.

This group is a space for community members who identify on the asexual and/or aromantic spectrum to come together and experience connection within the wider LGBTQ+ community.

Men's Night

Meets in the Outhouse Cafe every Friday from 7pm – 9pm.

Men’s Night is a weekly social meet-up for gay men of all ages. Pop in for some tea, coffee, and chats in the Outhouse Library every Friday night!

Rainbow Families Café

Meets in the Outhouse Cafe the third Saturday of every month from 12pm – 2pm

This social group is a space for LGBTQ+ parents, families, and parents-to-be (rainbow families) to come together, socialise, and build meaningful connections in a supporting and affirming environment. Children welcome!

Golden

Meets in the Outhouse Café every Thursday from 1pm – 3pm

Golden is a café meet-up for LBTQ+ women aged 50 and over to drop in for a coffee and a chat with others of a similar age. It’s a welcoming and social atmosphere for the older generation in the community every Thursday.

Dublin Men’s Group

Meets in the Outhouse Cafe every Friday from 7pm – 9pm.

Dublin Men’s Group is a group for gay, bi, and trans men who meet the first and third Monday of every month for coffee, conversation, and even some activities! Meet other GBT+ men, create friendships and widen your social circle.

Our social groups are welcoming spaces where LGBTQ+ people can connect, socialise, and build supportive networks. Each of our groups are loosely formed around various LGBTQ+ identities to help people connect with others who have shared experiences. All of our groups are trans and non-binary inclusive.

Nope! There’s no need to register—just drop on by when you feel ready.

We understand that joining a new group can feel overwhelming. If you’re feeling anxious, you can stop by our reception desk or café first—our team will be happy to chat and help you feel comfortable.

That’s completely normal! Many attendees come by themselves, and you won’t be the only one. Our facilitators are there to welcome you, introduce you to others, and help you feel at ease. You’ll quickly find friendly faces and people to connect with.

No worries! Our groups have a start and end time, but you can join at any time during the meet-up.

Yes! Each group has a friendly facilitator who will welcome you into the group, introduce you to others, and help you settle in.

Most of our social groups meet at the Outhouse Café on the ground floor, but some will meet in other spaces in the centre. Wherever the group is, you’ll find a warm and inclusive space waiting for you.

Of course! If it helps you feel more at ease, you’re welcome to bring a friend along—but it’s absolutely okay to come alone, too. Many people do!

Unfortunately, all of our social groups are for adults (18+). However, our friends at Belong To – LGBTQ+ Youth Ireland have some wonderful groups to check out instead.
