As part of Bealtaine Festival 2024, Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre invites you to our unique Theatre space where we’ll be screening queer classic The Queen (1968) followed by a panel discussion with drag superstars Davina Devine and Alan Amsby aka Mr. Pussy.
This event is part of WHAT A DRAG!!! An exploration of the life and work of Alan Amsby, aka Mr Pussy, through posters, photographs, videos, costumes, wigs, and other memorabilia ranging from his working-class roots in Peckham, London to his relationships with his adoring parents and many friends across an extraordinary artistic career.

The 1969 UK documentary What’s a Girl Like You? (1969) will be shown daily (on loop) as part of the exhibition, on a monitor.
There will be headphones available to listen to it.
